All Circuiteers that Proposed Turned Up, For Friday’s session(Q’hall)Thanks for your efforts!

I would have done a core matted session however my Groin has been playing up and I knew I would have made it worse, so in turn I had thought of a few different things and I came up with:

8 stations 2 people per station, I left a spare station in case of any unsuspected visitors, however none tonight.

All stations tonight we had done before, this time we were concentrating on Quality not Quantity so I set the team a challenge……..

Each station 75secs long with a constructed 15 recovery to get into the next station as people have a tendency to time waste between stations this way everybody would start and finish at the same time and do about the same amount of Quality.

Due to the Quality I had set the team it was proving very difficult so I decreased the work duration to 70secs and increased the recovery to 20secs which doesn’t seem alot but it is over the last 15 minutes!

Well done,  good pieces of feedback post class, any comments would be welcomed!

Trial Weekend for Beach Sessions. Important Dates for your Diary for these Sessions(Silver Sands)Aberdour.

Probably the picture of the night(A very Focused Barry Davie) Hazel holding off husband Don to the left of the picture Not long after the start where the runners were packed Conor impressed both Maryann and I with his endurance Jamie Garvie there's not much change left here Mark, Driving forward, Concentrating! Ryan McKenzie Just shows how much effort is being put in Nick wanting wishing for Stevie to slow down for extra recovery The great thing about running is when your not Peter trying to hold off Stevie, two Hill runners found this to their liking Paul moves into 2nd, Conor 3rd Nick 4th at this point Maryann.. 'Does my Bum look big in these'? Stevie Still smilling, leading Group Hazel hot on his heels

Pictures from the other 3 sessions of the Beach as on the Picture Gallery!

Few pointers:

The main sessions on Mon & Wed shall remain untouched for the now. I’m planning on doing a Friday normal session at Queens every second week and the Beach every second week, so that would out at week a piece or two beach sessions if there is a function on at the Hall which happens once every 8 weeks.

I’m taking names at the moment if your available for either or both

  •  10am Saturday 14th March or
  • 9am Sunday 15th March

What will then happen, the date that has the most people by Wed 11th March 9pm we shall go ahead with that date.  Above is a few pictures letting you know how easy it is!

The Clocks go forward Sunday 29th March so we shall plan to have our first session at 6-6.15pm Start on Friday 3rd April at Silver Sands Aberdour!

Need your continued feedback!

Tommy’s Tales

Had an Active Kids session with the kids of P1 from St.Leonards Primary, next door to Dunfermline High, which went down pretty well then I had to get home and get ready for my 1230 appointment, too tired this afternoon to run late in bed last night…..need to do better, picked up the boys from their school bus then to pick up Maryann, boys were doing football tonight with the Dunfermline Mini Kickers.

Normally on a Tuesday Maryann and I would be Salsa dancing however our friend who recommended us to go got some bad news and his daughter who babysits for us was commited due to the same circumstance, Maryann was feeling a bit tired so it was probably the right choice to stay off anyway.  This meant a potential opening to go to the Running club which I did, a good session which was:4×1mile of the Industrial Estate.

Set off slow but 2 mins into it I was 20-25 off Scott Bradley and Roger Clark, nearing the fouth minute Roger was slowing up the hill and I stayed the same distance behind Scott, 5 min mile for the 1st rep, 2nd one stayed about the same distance behind Scott this time boys were further back, session 3 same as 1+2 time was about 5mins 12 seconds last session was 5.22 however I seemed to be hitting a better note getting closer to Scott then pulling away a few meters, legs were burning up the last hill keep it steady working very very hard glad to be finished.

Had an appointment at 8pm to get back for!

Tomorrow:

  • 9am Canmore Primary Active Kids
  • 11-1230 Attempt 11mile, From Home, Fordel Firs, Dalgety Bay, Ridge Way Industrial Estate, the Three Lums heading towards Aberdour, under the railway bridge then all the way up to Crossgates back to the Odeon at Fife Leisure Park back home.
  • 1.30 Canmore Primary Session 2
  • 3.30pm Boys & Maryann Pick up
  • 4.45 Leave for Queenshall to set up for Classes
  • 5.45-8pm Classes
  • 9-1015pm Appointment at the house
