Many Thanks to the 19 Circuiteers(6 juniors) who came along to a Huge Course Beach Training Session Yesterday.

The course yesterday was using the Climbing ropes from the Flag Poles, we started next to the Cafe then ran down to the beach, made a small left turn towards the Decking, we then circled 1 flag pole, ran all the way down to its turning point down the beach then headed back up to the another Flag pole, back down there then back up the hill round the Car Park side of the Cafe, past the toilets running towards the cycle track at the hedges then back to the front Hard standing of the Cafe back to change with your partner.

We could only manage 4 out of the 6 sets due to its distance and the time, which was 5 past ten. I thick the guys did enjoy it, it was certainly different.

Perfect Perfect Morning, 2 Records Broken, Top Attendance for a Sat(30) and the 1st time we have ever been in the 70′s for 5 classes

Previous best set a few weeks ago was 67, this was set after a fantastic weekly best of 64 set just before Christmas but this week’s total’s of

20 on Monday at Dalgety Bay’s Encore Studio just next to Asda

24 at Charlestown’s Queenshall, which was a 16 & 8.

Today A record Breaking 30, giving us a truly amazing 74.

9am Aberdour Silver Sands Running Session is on as normal tomorrow(Saturday) See you there!

Thanks to Pitreavie Coach & Friend John Wanes, we received a phone call from one of John’s athletes mum’s. She said John advised me to contact yourself about training on a Saturday.  They are a Mother and daugther group who shall be paired up together and coming for the first time tomorrow please give them your normal pleasant welcome, the family stay in Aberdour so we hope they become Saturday regulars!

7 Apologises, 3 1st Timers and 3 under 13′s. 19 Circuiteers in Total, Great wee atmosphere,

An anticipated 16-17 had contacted beforehand to say they were coming, had late call off’s from regulars Claire Howie and Hazel Williamson for very valid reasons.  The session was based next to the Cafe like last week with mostly grass on the 4 big loops the shorter 2 loop took in more sand.
The inform young Connor used his speedy partner Bobby Summers to take most of the Sets.  
We welcolmed back young Louise McCulloch and Dad Robert, sadly she shall be absent next week but Dad hopes to make it 2 in a row!
1st timers Sue and Robbie finished the session still smiling so I hope that means that they enjoyed it and that we might get them back a few times next year!  
Well done to Johnny and especaily Peter Brown for putting Connor under a lot of pressure in the last few sets! Good to see Sam doing 2 weeks in a row and a wee thank you to 1st 12 year old Leah from Pitreavie Athletic Club who tried out the Parlauf format last week at Carnegie’s session which obviously never put her off too much.  Like Connor she is representing their District next Saturday at Edinburgh’s Holyrood Palace after winning their East District races a few weeks back in Aberdeen.
Janet and Martin were having a right old ding dong for 3rd and fourth places. A great spectacle to watch, shame I’ve lost the camera but we should have another by Wednesday.

With an unbelievale 22 today, has given beaten our Previous weekly attendance by an amazing 7. Grand total from the 5 classes a record breaking 64.

What a way to finish off this year with an unbelivable attendance over the last month at our classes, I would just like to thank everybody who has supported the classes and we hope we continue and grow stronger next year.
Have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We are only off Mon 26th & the 2nd next Wed & Sat are on as normal!
