Tuesday Update

Just to let you know yesterday we had a meeting with Community Services at Camdean  Maryann and I have asked them to reserve the room for us.   As it has been quite difficult to obtain the right venue taking in price, locality with the limited availibilty out there.    I am keen to try out Camdean to see if it would suit our needs,  I would be grateful for any feedback or ideas .   I have reserved the hall for Monday 11-08-08.

They do not allow half hourly bookings, so I have booked the hall from 17.30 – 20.30.  I cannot get into the hall until 17.30 so I will need roughtly 1/2hr to set-up, this will mean starting the class at 18.00 instead of 17.30.  and the second class at 19.15.  This may change if we decide to carry on there once we get familiar with the hall and surroundings.  I can only have the maximum of 15 people per class due to the charging method of the Community Council, if we go over 15 the rent for the hour will double so it is important that I have the numbers of people coming for these classes by sending a e-mail or by text.  I would be grateful for anyone who has booked but could not attend the class to advise me by text so I can back fill the space for those who want to come along.   If all goes well then I am considering doing the Friday class there also, but access is at 18.00 will consider starting class at 18-15.  I am struggling with a Wednesday night availability the only hall available is at Dulloch Park access after 18.00, but it is expensive to rent per hour, again suggestions are very welcome.  All other venues are booked as Monday and Wednesdays are busy nights.

Camdean is still in Roysth  on Primrose Lane 250 meters further along from Step Up  on the opposite side of the road, next to the Chinese restaurant and recycling centre.

Please advise ASAP of your intention to attend both classes on Monday.  Looking forward to hearing from you all.  Many thanks for your valued support and commitment!!   TL
